Monserrat watched the volleyball rise and leapt to meet it. The motion of her arm started in her hips and belly, rippled up her back, and finished with an explosive downward smash. Distorted by the force of the strike, the ball cratered into Clarissa’s chest. Clarissa went down on her back hard enough to bounce. A whistle blast ended the rally, and the game.

“That’s twenty five nothing, Monserrat’s team wins with a blow out! Good job girls. Monserrat, you were on fire! Make sure you bring that to the games.”

“I will, coach!” Monserrat grinned, bouncing on the balls of her feet. The game had been far too short for the amount of energy she had. Her teammates patted her appreciatively on the way to the locker room. The opposing girls, save for Clarissa, had already slunk away with sullen expressions.

“Fucking hell Monchi! My whole tit is bruised! It’s practice. You didn’t need to go like it was the national finals.” Clarissa frowned at Monserrat as she picked herself up from the court floor.

“I’m in a good mood today.” Monserrat’s grin felt downright feral. “If you don’t want to get hit, rally the ball back or get out of the way.”

“You knew I couldn’t dodge that. That was a crazy smash. There are pro players who couldn’t dodge that.”

“Sorry Lyssa.” Monserrat shrugged. She couldn’t conjure up much guilt for pulling off an awesome point.

“If you’re really sorry, you can buy my coffee to make up for the bruise you gave me.”

“You beggar.” Monserrat laughed. “I have to be home early this evening. Is it okay if we do our weekly thing at the campus coffee shop?”

“Yeah, that’s fine. I care about the company more than the coffee, you know?”

“Me too.”

The coffee shop doubled as a small cafeteria. In the evenings it exchanged it’s chill morning atmosphere for the rumble of excited and hungry undergraduates.

What it lost in peaceful vibes, it gained in short coffee counter lines and enough ambient noise to cover conversations. Monserrat and Clarissa found a small table tucked away in a corner and settled over their hot drinks.

“So what was up with the killer instinct today?” Clarissa rubbed her chest.

“Things have been amazing with Jenna lately. Today was over the top. I was really amped!”

“It’s going that good? I thought for sure she was going to turn you down on that ABDL stuff.”

“You’re the one who told me to talk to her!”

“Yeah, you needed to, but I didn’t think she’d be into it. She’s such a prude.”

“She’s not a prude. She’s inexperienced and has strong boundaries. Neither of those thing are bad.”

“She’s so vanilla that if she was an ice cream, she wouldn’t be vanilla flavor. She’d be plain cream.”

“Don’t be such a bitch. Besides, that’s a lot less true now.”

“So dish. What got you all excited?”

“She’s going to let me put her in a diaper tonight.”

“That’s it?”

“That’s it? Girl, you described her as cream ice cream. Wearing a diaper is some real kink!” Monserrat stared Clarissa down until her friend grudgingly nodded.

“Besides, it’s more than that. I’m going to start putting her to bed nightly. She’s getting really into the comfort and care aspect of it. It’s so sweet it would break your heart.”

“Jenna’s always been an extreme cutie. When do I get to babysit her?”

“Honestly? Maybe next weekend, maybe never. It’s start and stop with her, only every time she picks start, she puts the gas pedal on the floor.”

“If it doesn’t happen with Jenna, no worries. I’m kind of looking for that experience where it’s not on the job, though.”

“You decided to keep doing jobs, and you want a Little Girl of your own? Now who’s catching feels?”

“I haven’t caught feels for any of the girls who’ve hired me through that app, but I really get what you like about it now. The jobs are okay and the money is excellent. Sometimes though, it’d be nice to see what adult babysitting is like without money in the way.”

“It’s heaven.” Monserrat stared dreamily into her coffee.

“Oh fuck. Monchi, are you gonna marry this girl? Or adopt her, or whatever?”

“She told me she’s trying so hard on this because she wants us to be together in sixty years.”

“I’ll call U-Haul… oh never mind, you live in the same house. You going to start sharing a room?”

“I’d have to renegotiate with my polycule if I did.” Monserrat kicked the table leg, making their cups rattle. There was a tangle of sharp feeling around that statement that Monserrat knew she was going to have to unwrap later.

“You could always turn her room into a nursery I guess. A really wild one, like you said that Briana girl had. A crib instead of a bed, changing table, the whole thing.”

“Why do you have to tease me with stuff I can’t have?”

“Like you haven’t done that to me this whole conversation?” Clarissa laughed. “I tell you I wish I had someone like Jenna and you keep on gushing about her.”

“Can’t help it. I’ve got my Little girl on the brain.”

“You really are going to marry that girl if you keep up like this. What happened to ABDU’s most polyamorous amazon?”

“I can be married and still be poly.”

“Can Jenna?”

“Fuck, Lyssa! What’s with all the hard questions?”

“I’m a little cranky. Not sure why. Maybe someone bruised my entire tit!

“Okay, okay, I’m sorry!”

“You’re crazy powerful, Monchi of Themyscira. Be careful with us mere mortals, alright?”

“I will be. I’m sorry, really. But come on, it was pretty sweet to get a twenty-five-oh in practice.”

“Hell yes it was. I can’t wait to see you destroy one of those snooty Barnard teams.”

“Me either.” Monserrat grinned and downed her coffee. “I’m going to head out. I have some prep for a job on Friday and I haven’t even started my calc homework.”

“You’d better run then. The prof dropped a double assignment on us this week.”

“Ugh, really? I hadn’t looked at it yet.” Monserrat stood and collected her bag. “You want to come and hang out at my place this weekend? I miss you, plus Jenna could use someone who’s not me to talk to about this stuff.”

“Yeah, sounds good. See you then, Monchi.”

“Later!”

—–

Frantic activity got Monserrat through her evening without obsessing about Jenna. The only real break was cooking dinner with her other girlfriends. It was good to sit down with Rachel and Adie, but Monserrat could feel some distance opening up.

That’s something I need to take care of right away. This dinner is a good start. I love Jenna, but I love these girls too.

The double homework in calculus robbed Monserrat of couch snuggles with her girlfriends. Sighing wistfully at the cozy laughter coming from the living room, she shut herself in her room and sat down to grind integrals.

Despite Monserrat’s dedication and hopes, the assignment wasn’t done when her alarm went off. She rubbed her eyes and sighed. Last night’s short sleep was finally catching up with her. She wanted nothing more than to tuck herself into bed along with Jenna.

No early night for you. Monserrat thought to herself. That’s not how you keep your GPA over 3.8. Time to get my baby girl to bed, then back to the books.

Monserrat walked right into Jenna’s room, her hesitation from the previous night gone. Her girlfriend was crouched down, putting folded laundry in her dresser. Jenna looked up in surprise, her expression melting into a happy smile when she saw Monchi.

“Monchi!”

“Nope, Navi.”

Jenny smiled shyly and nodded. “Hi Navi.”

“Hi, baby girl. I missed you.  Want to tell me about your day?” Navi picked Jenny up and took a seat on the bed, settling Jenny on her lap.

“I had a good time with Brooke. Dr. Sienna and I had a good chat about my next paper. She’s not nagging me about picking different topics anymore.”

Jenny sighed and wrinkled her nose. “Dr. Hodge was a jerk again. He was on me about how my second paper was formatted. I didn’t even format it beyond the basics! The journal does the rest.”

“That’s the second time you’ve mentioned a problem with him. Why’s he on your case?”

“I turned him down for independent study after my first paper published. He’s first in line to be the new Dean when Dr. Moore retires. He thinks he was owed it.”

“Gross. I’m sorry you have to deal with that old jerk. Is there anything I can do? Actually, is there anything Dr. Sienna can do?”

“Dr. Sienna doesn’t have much seniority. She can’t do anything. Thanks for the offer, but I doubt you can either.”

I might be able to. Monserrat thought. Or rather, Briana’s mom, Veronica, might be able to.

“Let me know if it gets worse.” Navi kissed Jenny gently on the lips. “Let’s do a happier topic. What did you and Brooke do?”

“Talked for ages about all kinds of stuff. She has a new puppy! Oh, and we chatted about my next paper. It felt really good.”

Jenny gave Navi a squeeze. “I want to thank you for that. I’m a lot better with people since we started dating. Brooke and I feel a lot closer now.”

“I’m glad to hear I’m having a positive effect on my Little girl.” Navi smiled. “I want everyone to know what a wonderful baby girl I have.”

Jenny squirmed. “We never finished the discussion from this afternoon about – how far stuff goes.”

“We finished part of it. You gave me the power to set your bedtime.”

“Is that what you’re here for?”

“I’m here to hang out with you too, but it is almost your bedtime, Little girl.”

“You’re going to put me in a… in a…”

“Diaper.” Navi nodded firmly. “Which reminds me. I need to check those panties of yours and see if you kept them clean.”

Jenny gulped guiltily.

Navi raised her brows. “Jenny-bear, is there something you need to tell me?”

“It wasn’t my fault! I had a sneezing fit on the bus home. It was really dusty and gross.”

“Did you have an accident?”

“Only a tiny one. From sneezing! Not because I have accidents, or because I don’t keep my panties clean!”

“You’re bringing this up after I said I had to check your panties. Does that mean you didn’t put clean panties on afterwards?”

“It was a busy evening,” Jenny said in protest. “I was doing laundry. I was going to change into some new ones before bed.”

“That doesn’t make any sense. You know you get a pullup or a diaper at bedtime.”

Jenny squirmed and blushed. Her squirms became outright wiggles when Navi put her hand on the waist of her leggings.

“Navi, no.”

“Jenny-bear! You be a good girl, right now.”

With a final whimper, Jenny stopped her struggles. Navi laid the Little girl across her lap, stripping her leggings off. Jenny hid her face behind Elizabat when Navi stripped off her panties and held them up for inspection.

“These aren’t clean, baby girl.”

“Am I in trouble?” Jenny asked, muffled by the stuffie.

“You’re never in trouble for accidents, remember?”

“Then why are you embarrassing me?”

“I’m taking care of you. You don’t get spanked for accidents, you get more protection. I’m going to check your panties whenever we meet for lunch, and in the evenings before I put your in your nighttime diaper.”

“Nighttime pullup!”

“I don’t know if pullups are the right solution at night, the way things are going.” Navi patted Jenny’s belly. “If I see more dirty panties, I’ll put you in those pullups at school.”

“No! Navi, no! I – I can’t.”

“Then keep your panties clean. A big girl should have no problem doing that.”

“Navi, really, you can’t just – I can’t wear pullups to school. We have to talk about stuff like this, don’t we?”

“We are talking about it.” Navi gently pulled the bat plush away from Jenny’s face. “I’m telling you that you don’t have to wear pullups at school unless I find more dirty panties.”

Jenny was staring up like a deer in the headlights. Navi gently stroked the Little girl’s hair and smiled at her.

“Do you understand, Jenny? If you have dirty panties, you’ll get pullups at school. That means I’ll start carrying your diaper bag. It also means I’ll be making an extra effort to meet you on campus so I can check you at least once a day.”

Navi watched the realization hit Jenny as the Little girl’s jaw dropped. She began panting nervously, wringing the hem of her shirt.

“I – I’ll keep them clean. I do-don’t want to wear pullups to school. I don’t w-want you to – check me.”

“No? You don’t want me to take you to a family bathroom and check your pullups? Change them if needed? Check in with my baby girl and make sure she has everything she needs? I usually pack snacks in a diaper bag too.”

“W-we haven’t even done the nighttime thing regularly yet.” Jenny’s lip quivered as she spoke. “Or the w-weekend day thing.”

“I don’t see what those things have to do with making sure you’re protected from accidents at school.”

“Navi – Monchi. Why – why are we doing this? Why do I like it? Do you – do you really want me to be a baby?”

“I love taking care of you with all my heart, Jenna-bear.” Monserrat said softly. “I think you love being taken care of too. We could do it without the diapers, I could check in on you in the day and just give you a hug.”

Monserrat smiled ruefully. “I think it’d feel silly to back off that much after we’ve shared something this intimate. If you need us to pull back on something, I want you to know that we always can.”

Jenna abandoned the wrinkles she was twisting into her shirt and grabbed Elizabat for a tight hug. “I don’t want to stop being your Jenna. I like being Jenny but I need to be Jenna too.”

“I don’t want to lose Jenna either. I don’t want to stop being Monchi, or even Monserrat. I think we can be both.”

“If I was in diapers – pullups – at school that would be a lot! I’d be – wearing stuff almost all the time.”

“You could still be Jenna if you were wearing them all the time. You’ll still be my brilliant mathematician. You’ll still be the girl that – that I’ll be with in sixty years– the girl that I want to spend the rest of my life with.”

A shocked silence hung in the room. Monserrat felt an uncharacteristic flush blossom across her cheeks. Jenna’s mouth was hanging open again. The sound of a car driving through the slush intruded crudely on the sacred silence Monserrat’s words had created.

“Did you – propose to me there?”

“I’m not sure. I don’t think so – I think I was raising the question to talk about. I’d like it to be fancier if I proposed for real.”

“Do you want to know how I feel about it?”

“Yes please.” Monserrat’s heart was banging in her chest harder than during any multi-mile run. Her palms were covered in sweat, she felt clammy all over.

“If you asked me – for real – I would want to be your wife.” Jenna’s voice was soft. Monserrat could see the nervousness – no, the deep fear behind Jenna’s eyes. Her chest swelled proudly at how brave her Jenna was being.

“Marrying you is something that came up when I was talking to Clarissa today. I guess that’s why that slipped out.”

Monserrat cradled Jenna in her arms. “There’s a lot of talking that I’d want to do with you. There’s one really important question that would have to be answered for.”

“You mean that you’d want an open marriage, so you could still be poly.”

Monserrat winced. “I would. It’s why I said I wasn’t really asking yet. If that’s not okay with you…”

“Monchi, I know that. I’ve known that since we started dating. I knew that when I said I wanted to be your wife.”

Monserrat’s hands trembled. She swung Jenna to the side and put her on the bed. Jenna looked confused, doubly so when Monserrat got up. Confusion on Jenna’s face became shock and incredulity when Monserrat sank to one knee.

“Jenna Michalski…”

“Monserrat – what are you doing? This – is this really – we haven’t had all the conversations, you haven’t talked to your other girlfriends…”

Monserrat put her right hand over her heart, reaching for Jenna with her left. “Jennifer Michalski. Will you spend the rest of your life with me? Will you marry me?”

“You’re really asking me this now?” Jenna’s cheeks were streaming with tears. She grabbed Monserrat’s hand like a lifeline. “I don’t have any bottoms on, you just checked my panties, you’re going to put a diaper on me…”

“I’m really asking you this, right now. I don’t want anything more than I want to be married to you.”

“Yes! Yes, you big, bizarre, glorious woman! I’ll marry you. I’ll be your Jenna forever.” Jenna threw herself into Monserrat’s arms, sobbing happily.

Monserrat crushed Jenna to her chest, her own face soaked in tears. They kissed frantically, crying and laughing until they fell on the floor holding each other.

“Monchi, how does this work with…”

“I’ll have to talk to Rachel and Adie like, tomorrow. But I’m sure…”

Jenna slapped Monserrat on the belly, cutting her off. “Your fiancé wasn’t done talking! How does – the baby girl thing work? What happens to Jenny and Navi when Jenna and Monserrat get married?”

“My fiancé huh?” Monserrat smirked her most obnoxiously-smug smirk. Jenna rolled her eyes – while smiling.

“Navi still takes care of Jenny. Puts her little girl in pullups and diapers. Makes sure she’s eating right and goes to bed on time. Takes care of her forever. With even more love than before.”

“Could it be our special thing? You wouldn’t have it with anyone else you’re dating? I mean, your clients, I understand, but you wouldn’t have any other baby girls in your polycule?”

“No other Little girls in the polycule. Only you. I promise.”

“Having a Little girl is – a thing you need, isn’t it? Like you need to be poly.”

“I think so, Jenna-bear. Is that okay? Are you going to get what you need?”

“I need Monserrat, and Navi, and Maths. I want to be something you need.”

Monserrat blinked. “Since when I do I get double billing above maths?”

“Since you proposed to me, stupid.” Jenna sighed and snuggled in close to Monserrat.

Monchi patted Jenna’s bare rear. “I still need to get you ready for bed.”

“Navi, I don’t wanna,” Jenny said playfully, yawning.

“Too bad you don’t get a choice. Let’s get you in your diaper.”

“No! I won’t go to bed unless you come to bed with me.”

“Jenny…”

“I mean it!” Jenna looked Monserrat in the eye with a serious expression. “I’m not going to bed in a different bed tonight. I’ll stop the game right here if you argue with me on this.”

I still have to finish that calc assignment. Monserrat thought, frowning. Actually, I could finish it anyway. I could diaper Jenny, have her hang out while I finish – no, that’s wrong too. The assignment is going to have to wait. I’ll figure something out to raise my grade if I have to. Jenna is the priority.

“Okay. You win that one.” Monserrat kissed Jenna tenderly. “No more stalling on the diaper though.”

Jenny was all smiles as Navi put her on the changing blanket. She lifted her hips obediently for the diaper. Nervousness crept in to her expression as Navi applied the lotion.

“Do you need something to help you relax, baby girl?”

“Like what?”

Navi put her fingers delicately on Jenny’s slit. Gasping, Jenny threw her head back when Navi’s fingers slipped inside.

“Is this – AH – is this how it’s supposed to go?”

“You’re such a nervous bear, always worried about the rules.” Navi slid her fingers in slow circles around Jenny’s slick nub. “I’m in charge now, Jenny-bear. You let Navi decide what’s supposed to happen and relax.”

“Okay.” Jenny moaned softly. She went limp, except to lift her hips when she needed just a bit more contact. Faster than she’d ever gotten Jenny there before, Navi watched the Little girl’s belly quake. The stifled moans that Jenny bit back were adorably hot, sending warm prickles all over Navi’s skin.

“You come fast when you’re not anxious.”

“I trust you.”

“I love you so much,” Navi said, her voice breaking.

“Can I make you feel good too, please?”

“I feel like I’m almost there.” Navi crawled up next to Jenny and pushed her leggings down to her thighs. “Use your fingers, please baby girl?”

“Kiss me.” Jenny leaned in and met Navi’s answering lips. They kissed sweetly, almost tentatively, as Jenny cupped Navi’s crotch. The slow stroking of Jenny’s fingers resonated through Navi’s body. It built on the high of their engagement, of Jenny’s impossible cuteness, even off the sound of the diaper rustling under the Little girl.

Navi cried out on an inward breath, grabbing Jenny’s upper arms and holding them tightly. Jenny melted against her. Navi trembled against her Little girl for a minute or two. As the tension flowed out of her, she nuzzled Jenny’s face and peppered her with kisses.

Snuggles could have gone on for quite a while, had it not been for the winter chill. The moment she saw Jenny shiver, Navi gave her one last kiss and sat up to finish diapering her fiancé.

A quick wipe from Navi to clean up Jenny’s relaxation treatment was followed by a generous sprinkling of baby powder. As the powder went on and was patted into place, Navi spotted a frown worrying at Jenny’s brows. When she wrapped the diaper around the Little girl and expertly set the tapes, Jenny bit her lip.

“How’s my Jenny-bear? Are you okay?”

“You were right – it’s a lot more than the pullup.”

“How do you feel?”

“Little.” Jenny said, squirming.

“You’re my baby girl. I’m going to take care of you and cuddle you all night long. How does that sound?”

“Are we going to sleep in your bed? Can I bring Elizabat?”

“Yes, and of course you can.”

“Will you…”

“Read you a story?”

“Yes please.”

“Only if you have a pacifier in your mouth while I do.”

Jenny squirmed so much she curled herself into a ball.

“Okay,” she whispered.

Jenny didn’t take the pacifier out when Navi finished reading the story, and Navi didn’t try to take it. She pulled her Little girl close to her instead. It took some arranging to get close enough with Elizabat in the mix, but Navi soon had her Jenny snuggled into the curve of her body. She patted Jenny’s rear, grinning at the soft crinkles. Jenny cooed through the pacifier and closed her eyes.

My beautiful, baby wife. Monserrat thought, as she drifted off to sleep.
